Just a few of the changes we've made since buying the house last August.
Jessye made this over the past winter on another site, so I moved it for her...
After spending 7 years in Bowling Green, Brian and I made the move back to our hometown to be closer to family and friends. We both recently started new jobs-Brian is now fulfilling his dream of being a firefighter at Harrod's Creek Fire Department. And I couldn't stay away from radio land, and am now doing sales for Cox Radio of Louisville. We are getting settled into our new home and enjoying our time as husband and wife.
Our home
We bought our first home this summer and moved in Aug 1st. I enjoy being able to decorate a new home, Brian enjoys watching TV in his big garage. Everyone wins!
So we have finally been able to settle into the house and I have been able to make some chages:
This was the bathroom before
Bathroom after-no more navy!
Dining room before-with sellers stuff
And after, finally got my baby blue room!
The Superfan....

For this past week's Wednesday Night Happy Hour, the Higgies went with us to the Louisville Bats game. The game was uneventful, the hot dogs were $1 (i ate 4) and the bats lost.
But, we did encounter "The Superfan". The Superfan sat by himself, clapped thunderously and cheered enough for all of Slugger Field. Our first seats (that Aaron picked) were in the row directly behind. This only lasted one inning. His cheering and thunderous ovations were too much for us to handle. Katy and I had already heard Superfan from the beer and hotdog line and knew that we couldn't compete with that.
So we moved to the 1st base line, where we could still hear Superfan across the park.
Three Louisville Bats were hit by the pitcher, Superfan danced, the Durham Bulls hit a few homeruns, Superfan wore the rally cap, and finally everyone, including Superfan, went home disappointed. It was something you just had to see. So I took pictures. =) Video up soon.
